The school runs in two multistoried buildings seperately for kindergarten and I to X classes. Classrooms are spacious, well ventilated with digital boards.
The school has vast play ground with well maintained courts for basket ball, throw ball, volley ball, Kho-Kho, football, cricket and athletics.
Project based learning is a nontraditional education model that seeks to better prepare students for solving real-world problems and issues while teaching them what they need to know to succeed in school right now. Project based learning structures curriculum around discrete projects, presenting students with multi-step problems to solve or asking them complex questions they are then required to answer. Such projects often force students to use multiple learning techniques to succeed, including research, logical deduction, and interactive learning (trial and error). Since these projects are usually too large and complex for one student to do alone, project based learning also tends to encourage teamwork.
The modern school is equipped with technology in every corner ensuring minimum human effort. Biometrics is one such technology integration used to help and track attendance with minimal effort. Tracking attendance of staff is the biggest challenge for any school. To ascertain the attendance tracking with increased processing speed and flexibility, the school has facilitated the biometric integration. DIGITAL CLASSROOMS: Our students are part of a new generation – a generation that is constantly connected and surrounded with technology, and so it only makes sense to fully incorporate technology into our teaching practices. As educators, we are the ones who need to evolve and adapt our teaching practices in order to accommodate, foster, and expand our students’ use of technology. We need to create a learning environment that supports 21st century learning. DIGITAL PROGRESS CARDS: School is having a system for managing the electronic and hard copy record to ensure the authenticity, security, reliability and accessibility of digital progress cards. ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB: The school has Art of facility for English language lab with wifi connected computers, sophisticated software for improving English communication and accent for students.
To introduce and improve the concepts in mathematics a spacious mathematics lab has been provided with models, solids and necessary equipment
The school has a large computer lab with multimedia facilities. The students have ample opportunities to learn under the guidance of experienced computer professionals. The school has prescribed a class wise syllabus. The teachers prepare their lessons making use of multimedia and use CD’s and LCD for class room teaching.
Mobile apps are integral part of our lives. School introduced the mobile app for the effective interaction between management, teachers, parents and students. It is a revolutionary mobile communication tool which dispenses notifications, records of tests and examinations and every activity happening in the school. It allows parents to stay updated regarding school activities.
In our physics lab, we conducted an experiment to investigate the principles of projectile motion. The objective of the experiment was to study how the angle and initial velocity of a projectile effect on its trajectory. To do this, we set up a simple experimental apparatus consisting of a projectile launcher, a target board, and a protractor. We carefully measured the launch angle and the initial velocity of the projectile and recorded the time it took for the projectile to reach the target board. By analysing the data and applying the equations of motion, we were able to determine the range, maximum height, and time of flight for the projectile. Our experiment provided valuable insights into the fundamental concepts of projectile motion and allowed us to verify the predictions of theoretical physics.
In our integrated English and Computer Lab project, we embarked on a creative journey to enhance our language skills through technology. The project involved analysing a classic piece of literature, 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee. We leveraged the resources in our computer lab to create multimedia presentations, incorporating elements like text, images, audio, and video to bring the story to life. Each student was tasked with selecting a significant scene from the novel and presenting it in a visually engaging and informative manner. We used digital storytelling techniques, showcasing our ability to synthesize the text and articulate its themes, characters, and symbolism. This project not only strengthened our understanding of the novel but also improved our digital literacy, as we learned how to use various software tools for graphic design, video editing, and public speaking. The integration of English and computer skills allowed us to explore literature in a dynamic and interactive way, fostering a deeper appreciation for the power of storytelling and the role of technology in communication.
In one of our recent Chemistry Lab experiments, we conducted an experiment to investigate the properties of chemical reactions and the concept of Stoichiometry. The experiment focused on the reaction between Hydrochloric acid (HCl) and Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH). We carefully measured the volumes of the two reagents and mixed them in a controlled manner. The reaction resulted in the formation of Sodium Chloride (NaCl) and Water (H2O). Through meticulous data collection and analysis, we were able to determine the balanced chemical equation for the reaction and calculated the Stoichiometric coefficients. This experiment allowed us to understand the concept of limiting reactants and excess reactants. Moreover, we explored the practical applications of Stoichiometry in real-world scenarios, such as determining the amount of product that can be obtained from a given amount of reactants. The lab not only deepened our comprehension of chemical reactions but also honed our skills in accurate measurement and data analysis, which are crucial in the field of chemistry.
Participation in Sports and Extracurricular activities is an integral part of a well-rounded education. Our school offers a diverse range of extracurricular opportunities, from sports teams to clubs and organizations. Engaging in these activities not only promotes physical fitness but also fosters personal growth and development. For instance, our Soccer team provides an excellent platform for students to build teamwork, leadership and discipline. Meanwhile, clubs like the debate club encourage critical thinking, public speaking, and the exchange of diverse ideas. Extracurricular activities empower us to explore our interests and passions outside the classroom, leading to a richer and more vibrant educational experience. These activities not only enhance our social skills and leadership qualities but also provide valuable lessons in time management and responsibility. They are a crucial part of our holistic education and contribute to our personal and intellectual growth.
